Sara also found time to work as a journalist and as an activist in women\u2019s suffrage and forest conservation.<\/p>\n<p><strong><i>The Forgotten Botanist<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0is a timeless tale about a woman who discovered who she was by leaving everything behind. Her inspiring story is one of resilience, determination, and courage\u2014and is as relevant to our nation today as it was in her own time.<\/p>\n<p>Wynne&#8217;s most recent recorded presentation about the Sara Plummer Lemmon Project included the latest development in preserving Sara&#8217;s remarkable artwork \u2013 and how her research has led to an oral history project with the Smithsonian Libraries and Archives!
